About Rising Free Radio
Rising Free Radio is me, Mike Muir. It has been concieved, constructed and scripted by me and I pay for the server bandwidth to stream Rising Free around the world.
Why?
Because I wanted to learn how to is the simple answer I suppose.
I love being able to take a concept such as this and to bring it forth, from, what amounts to, nothing at all.
A few months ago Rising Free Radio did not exist but today it has listeners as far apart as South America and Siberia.
I also want to do my bit to help new and existing music to spread and gain new listeners. I'd like to be able to help musicians to gain better exposure and to be able to sell their art around the world without bias or exploitation. I can do that with rising Free Radio.
